"Lady, you're my kind of stupid."

It would seem so.

Not only that, but Trish is still naked.

So, are the girls staying?
Because if they are I want to be one of the first to say "there goes the neighborhood".

Don't worry, I figured a lot of people would worry about that...

While I don't think that is the last time we'll ever see girl blockheads, I think we can all agree that right now the most important thing is to get back to the classic blockhead stuff we're used to.  Wink

Oh there's one more comic as part of this story though. Just a heads up.

Hahahaha much thanks you guys, wow.  Smile

Y'know the funny thing is, I'm actually surprised you liked that storyline so much... I thought people would hate it because I was being a sexist, sexist... sexist. Sexist being both an adjective and a noun.

So I mean, not to fish for compliments or anything, but for the people who liked the recent girl blockheads storyline so much, I have to ask... why? Just so I can get a little more specific feedback y'know...

(Also, I KNOW I didn't update yesterday or Monday like I said I would, but it's the beginning of Spring Quarter and... it's harsh.)

Well, I like it cause I assumed it was making fun of men and women who think and act like the Blockheads did (minus t he being naked part.  I dont think many people walk around naked without there being prior agreement that all or most will be nude.  Like a nude beach or nudist colony.)

IF you actually think all men and women think and act that way, it makes it quite a bit less funny.

HAHAHA no, I don't actually think that all men and women act that way... if they did, then it really wouldn't be funny...

I guess I was just hoping that at least one person would think that I DID think that way.  Tongue

See I have this fantasy that I'm edgy... but no. Not even close.

It's rough for Sisko... space stations are just so... stationary.

But you got me curious now, do you prefer Sisko? I'd love to hear your argument. :^)

I don't really prefer any captain over the others.  I grew up with Sisko (my mom LOVED DS9) and just don't get all the hate.

Plus, while other captains had God Complexes, Sisko WAS a god, or at least closer to one than them.   Tongue

Aw, do people actually hate on Sisko? I don't think there's any reason for it, there's nothing wrong with the guy. I wasn't at all trying to hate on him, I just meant that the issues that a space station commander faces are inherently of a more domestic nature than those that a starship captain comes up against. And while some people would find that groundedness to be less interesting, I'm sure others might prefer it. If I recall correctly, Sisko was the only Star Trek leader to have a son. (Or wait did Kirk, and then his son died? Well anyway Sisko was the only one to have a relationship with his child in the actual show on a regular basis.) But yeah, parenthood's tough, I think you could use that point to make a strong argument as to him being up against more than the average Star Trek leader. Not to mention all that crap with the freakin' Dominion.

So when you say Sisko was a god, do you mean that literally? (Some sort of issue of ancestry?) Or is that just personal preference? As far as other captains having god complexes, I'm afraid I'm going to have to argue against that, at least as far as Picard is concerned. (My personal favorite.) Certainly there are some who speak of him as a God, and Picard does withhold himself from the crew on a personal level somewhat. (At least as far as his love life, or lack thereof, is concerned.) But Picard does share his feelings on issues of leadership with the crew fairly often, and in fact confers with his officers so often that the Enterprise-D ends up being a very democratically run ship.

Um, to sum up, I don't have anything against Sisko, or even Janeway. My preference for Picard could very well be because my favorite series is The Next Generation. (The only series with the one and only Data!) But on the other hand... Picard totally, totally rules.  Cheesy
