This is a thread to post in if you're going to be away for a bit of time, so we're not left wondering what the hell happened to your ass when you should be here posting and entertaining the rest of us.

Me, personally, I have my father's Birthday on the 12th, which will leave me with the task of driving my parents to florida so we can spend time with the family. I don't think I'm going to bring my laptop and/or have time to check up, so yeah.

Like you people weren't praying for the day I'd shut up for a second Wink

Things gearing up at work, with a full week this week, two short weeks (vacation) and then two major trials and a project the Friday of Memorial Day week.

Also, staging for a pagan festival 700 miles away, which exploded two weeks ago from "Me and my friend taking a roadtrip vacation and hangin' with my old community," to "I'm facilitating an organizational ambassador exchange program for my low-maintenance friend and our high-maintenance fellow traveler, who's flying in from a third state and shipping his gear, to a festival which lost its safety coordinator mid-April, is very likely to be short-handed for safety staff (this means I have to pack my 'work' gear just in case), and may or may not have taken severe damage in the last round of storms.  By the way, all the people whose absence contributed to the drama-free nature of the last event are going to be present, working, and in director or manager positions; the ambassador exchange is going to involve a lot of playing nice with people who don't make that easy."

I have little time, less energy, and even less patience.  I'll be scarce until after Memorial Day.

My new job started Tuesday. I'm salaried for the first time ever and commuting in to Oakland so unless the new bosses get me a laptop with wifi I'll probably be seldom seen until I get into the swing of things.

ETA: In case you all were wondering I haven't murdered Starlock. He's been having ongoing computer problems.
