Oh my god. I have NO IDEA what I was thinking, but, I finally succeeded at wholly humiliating myself. I'm STILL drunk six hours later.

I wasn't drinking alone, I was drinking with WoW buddies. So, I suppose I was 'technically' alone, but not really.

In sober news, wow. That's a LOT of rum gone. I understand so much now.

Protip: Do not drink hard alcohol out of a regular glass. Drunk judgment is bad judgment, in terms of quantity. Started out cautious, but, somewhere along the line... I mean, damn.

No, that's more than enough for alone.  The thing is when you're around other people you're required to do things that test you all the time.  And they point things out that you don't notice yourself.  And you can see how drunk you are by watching them.

Then again, I can't even drink my vodka either. *shudder* I think I broke my ability to drink hard liquor for good while. And I can't drink beer or bitch beer, unless I can find stuff they'll admit is non-wheat based.

Drinking alone is fine, getting completely incoherent alone, not so much.  You could fall down and start fires.  Proven fact. 
 
ON the flip side however, I think you could be blabbering on the phone with a long time friend, and get a little drunk.  Perhaps you could even chat it up with old friends online and get drunk.  Just as long as you're able to put yourself to bed without reasonable injury to others, or the property of others.

 . . I'm not drunk now, but I'm thinking about tying one on this weekend.  Chilling with a new co-worker, getting ripped, and watching the Evil Dead series.  I've managed to borrow The Boomstick edition of Army of Darkness, never heard/watched it so I'm excited about some of the extras.  We're going to finish it off with Bubba Ho-tep.  During which we'll probaby get drunk on expensive wine.  Also another first.  SHIBBY! Whistling

Don't forget: when watching Evil Dead, you have to do a shot every time you can see one of the stage lights.  Not only that, but it's a shot for every stage light you can see in that shot.

There's one shot where I believe you have to drink five times.

I'm like... totally drunk.

My friend and I drank an entire bottle of 12 year old scotch. The $60 dollar bottle.
Very nice.
Very drunk.
We decided to drink booze and watched web cams with boobies on them because we both got stood up this weekend.

Which sucked.

but at least we got drunk.

And now, I need to leave him an MSN message, because he thinks I'm passed out on his couch. And I'm not. Walked home. Because I live like.. half a mile away form his place. took all of 5 minutes.

And these chicks were checking me out as I walked by. I swear.

Okay probably not. They were probably giggling because of my stupid grin as I walked by.

Let's just say I'm looking forward to next weekend.

There's this place, across the street and about a half block down.  To be a member of the Ballard Drinking Team, you have to drink 99 different beers there.  Tonight I got closer to my goal!
