So... I went on a wee bit of a holiday - 10 days in my favourite part of the UK, Cumbria. Further west than I usually like, but Cumbria all the same. Some great long walks over Fell and Dale, but the best view has to be right outside the door to the cottage the day I went to leave... I got some real film shots with my SLR too, which I'll post once they're developed and digitised. I'll also get some other shots up later.

That really does look like a serene vacation spot.

I was quite pleased with the cocktail I made last night. It was yummy and the alcohol wasn't overpowering. One part vodka, two parts lemonade, two frozen strawberries in lieu of ice cubes

I can't remember if I ever posted pics of me from my brother's wedding on here. If not, I should. I don't wear a tux very often.

A guy who works the Electronics department at my store comes to work each day in slacks, a dress shirt, a tie, a vest and suspenders. Not quite a tux, but I've had a customer tell me he looks "over-dressed."

When I was in high school, I worked for a professional theater company in the summer. When we ushered performances, we were told to dress nice. So the girls would wear summer dresses, the guys would wear slacks, a shirt, and maybe a tie.

Except one guy who wore a white tux when he ushered. It was kind of adorable.

FINALLY able to wear my pretty purple/pink bananabell! It only took three months to heal. I plan on buying the others from this set on BOF. And really, at $5 a pop and high quality, who could resist?

bodyartforms.com and all its amazingness. The one I have in is from this set : http://www.bodyartforms.com/productdetails.asp?ProductID=1192 I plan on getting one of each color. Also, its smoother than the one I was pierced with and the top ball is easy to screw on and feels a lot more secure and again, pretty to look at.

Also! That's an adorable belly button piercing. I'm so very not brave enough to do that. However, I keep seeing belly button shields and chandelier jewelry and I'm in love with them. Have you seen them?
