I dunno, often when I dream, it's about something I thought about briefly during the day, but then got distracted. Some brief mental image or idea that was in my mind fleetingly, but not properly thought throught.

Either that or you're dreaming about being a lesbian, right?

Nah, I do that when Im awa- dammit, Starlock.

Come to think of it I DID have a dream like that at one point. It involved a couple of you guys, actually, although not in any sexual context I hasten to add. Im disturbed at how quickly my subconcious was able to come to terms with being a man, then a woman, then a man again.

You say that only because he looks like you.

You only dreamt it because he looks like me.

I know this thread is a bit dusty, but since it exists, I figured there was no need to start a new one.

My latest dream was bizarre and disturbing. My ex and I were about to get married. I had this weird gold, strapless dress, and right before the ceremony started, the ex and I had sex (which was surprisingly good). Then I left him at the altar. I never even went to the place where the wedding was being held. I just remember catching a train in my wedding dress, and knowing that I had to get away. Later in the dream, I felt bad for jilting him. I tried to track him down to apologize, but I found out that he was dead. I donned the odd gold wedding dress and took a train ride, as a weird tribute to him.

 O_o

Anyone else care to share their latest fuckered up dreams?

The other night I dreamt that me and some forum people (Mach, Krieg, and Goo are the ones I remember) were on a spaceship. The spaceship had Daleks on it.

I was hiding from these scary scary daleks in the bathroom of this spaceship, balanced carefully on one toilet so they couldn't see my feet, when Mach (who knew where I was hiding) comes running in, screaming things like "they're going to kill us!" and bursts into my hiding place.

So now the daleks know where I am, and that's scary. But then Samuel L. Jackson bursts into the scene and saves us from the Daleks.

Later, we are all sat down on comfy couches, and Samuel L. Jackson is explaining to us that he used to be a dalek himself, and they kept him evil by injecting something into him, but he got away.

Then Samuel L. Jackson leaves to get a drink or something, and I say.... I actually SAY, "I want these motherfucking daleks off my motherfucking spaceship", and everyone laughs.

IN A DREAM! o_O

Entirely fucked up. ;)

Some girl (not real) I had been talking to over the internet wanted to meet me. I was in a mall. It was a really big mall, with an elevator that had old-style grates instead of walls, and a glass floor. In the process of trying to find the place she was in, I somehow manage to push the grate on my right side so that it opens at the bottom, and I'm kind of hanging out of the elevator. I quickly slam it shut and then get vertigo from looking at the ground below. The elevator starts coming back down, a little too fast. I get out safely though. At some point I end up at home instead of the mall. Can't remember what I was doing. I remember the girl, and that I was supposed to meet her soon, so I come out to desperately ask Nat to give me a ride. She's vacuuming and can't hear me, and when I make a noise loud enough for her to hear over it, she tells me to "stop fucking whistling!" Shortly after this I wake up.

Id had this fucked up dream last week. I was hanging around with Azetidine and Kiri and a couple other forumites and we were playing weird games and generally screwing around, and across the street we saw Revolution. There was a bunch of guys playing basketball over there, and he seemed to want to join in, but was a little shy about it: he had this basketball hoop of his own which was really technological and kept track of the score and junk. But the guys seemed to be assholes so I asked him to come over and mess around with us, which he did, and it was fun.

Then there was part of the dream I remember least, which we got trapped in some kind of wargame or competition taking place along the seafront, and lots of people died.

The dream ended when me and Aze and two other people who were sort of dream-generic people, were escaping across the sea shore in motorbikes. For some reason we'd seen fit to go across this expanse of wet rock, just on the edge of the sea.

My bike slipped or didn't work or something, and I found it hard to stand up or get it going again. Aze came back to help me, and I tried to move my arm and couldn't, and the sea was starting to wash over the rock-path.

Then when I tried to move my right arm, this fucking huge manta ray/jelly fish type thing enveloped that side of my body. Which scared the shit out of me, as weirdass sea creatures touching me or getting entangled on me creeps me out. I woke up with yelp, my whole body jolting, and it turned out I was laying on my arm.

I have no idea where the dream came from, other then I was angsting out over failing my motorbike CBT.

So I had this dream the other night that I was inspecting a factory where they turned worms into filling for humans and foodstuffs, unfortunately it was very below code, slime and muck everwhere, it was like a swamp.  So I shut it down, then some beavers moved in, and started cutting down trees and doing other beavery things.  Years passed, and I was a girl from some local tribe of natives, the beavers chased me off, then an angel came and told me that I was the chosen one.  I defeated some big bad guys, then I descended to the ancient vault deep below the surface of the earth, where the God's had hidden the reward for our having defeated the bad guys.  I walked through the vault doors and onto the bridge of the star ship enterprise, where I was captain kirk and me and my tribe ruled the galaxy with a benevalent fist.

I've been having a lot of bad anxiety dreams lately.

I just started a new job with a new boss (but the same company I've worked at for years) and I'm really bad about getting up in the morning - like REALLY bad.  So I have these anxiety dreams about oversleeping and then everything goes wrong at work and I'm reduced to a whimpering cowering crybaby and then I wake up and it's 4am.  Then later I will have dreams about the alarm going off and I get up and get ready for work and get to work and start working but the goddamn alarm clock noise won't stop and when it's finally about to drive me crazy I wake up and all my alarm clocks have been going off for an hour.

*sigh*

A few weeks ago I had a dream that I don't really remember except that I felt heartbreakingly lonely and when I woke up I was still crying.

No way! It was a new experience for me.

The mindfuck was in the fact it was a mid-way switch. One moment Im me, with some generic MILF, the next minute Im apprently a girl with some semi-ugly guy. I was slightly more distanced then when I was myself, though- it wasn't from the first person- but yeah. One minute the dreams protagonist is me, the next it's a girl from a porn movie I saw.

The first dream I had a gender-switch in was probably about middle school age.

I was a guy who's friend (or cousin?  I dont member) was really rich.  This guy's father bought us all hookers for some big celebration (graduating high-school maybe?) and I ended up in the back of a limo with this girl.  But the whole dream, I think I kinda know I'm NOT really a guy, and am trying to convince everyone that I am, in fact, a girl.  So the whole time I'm in the back of the limo with the hooker, I'm like 'No, really, you're pretty and all, but I'm a girl.  I shouldnt be doing stuff with other girls.  I dont even have a dick, see?'  Then the dream ended, and I was mighty guilty for some reason.

This was about the time I had a HUGE crush on my geography teacher, Miss. Defnet, so I think I was working out my sexuality issues in my dreams.  Makes sence, ne?

Tweak invaded my dreams.  She is MIGHTY.  Along with a couple extremely hot but unknown men.

We were both wearing bright corsette dresses and dancing to Reverend Horton Heat in concert at a car show in a 3 level theater.  It was fun.  lol

Puffin birds were falling from the sky and I caught one, it was nighttime so it must have fallen into my arms, I wouldn't have seen it otherwise.. And it was so fluffy and cute so I kept it. I woke up, fell back asleep, back into that same dream only I was ballroom dancing with Anna, she was wearing a gorgeous golden dress. I think I was wearing a white tuxedo. Anyway, I told her about the puffin and she just smiled and steered us over to the cameras on the sidelines. If I recall the last part correctly, a rarity for dreams stuck in the back of my mind, I believe we were on the Titanic.  :|

I have D&D on the brain, if it's working it's way into my nightmares.. I had a dream about a party of D&D characters- never explicitly stated, but they were a party of medievil/fantasy adventurers, and I knew what class and race they all were and about what level- and they had to deliver a box to this higher-level paladin guy. The paladin guy was hunting some kind of evil witchhag, but he'd sent a Message saying he'd been having problems and he needed whatever was in the box to finish her. The party was warned not to try to engage the witch themselves (because she'd school them all and only the paladin was tough enough to match her) and also not to try to open the box and make off with the contents, because it was magically trapped by about a hundred powerful runes. It could only be opened by the paladins hand.

So they set off, all in high spirits at first, and they get to the heath the witch was terrifying, and camp in the Spookiest Wood Ever (tm). Stereotypically nightmarish scary-wood. Black and knarled and the trees were like old curled paper. The ranger is keeping watch, and he's the leader because he's so hyper alert and all badass, and he's been jumpy all day like the scout-guy from Predator. There's a bigass thunder and lightning storm (but of course). Basically, the witch sneaks up and stands right in front of the ranger guy, and waits until a crack of lightning illuminates her face. She could have just broken his neck, but no, she wanted to scare him. She's terrifying to me, like I imagined the witch from Blair Witch to be.

So he screams and she murders him, the party wakes up, and chaos ensues. At first they're all, "pshh, however tough she is, she's only one hag-thing and there are like, nine of us here, and we're badasses", and they try to take her one, but she kills two more of them, so they get on their horses and ride off far into the night, stopping only when they're too tired to go on. They stop to rest and they think they're safe but she comes back next night, and this time she fireballs the horses first, and goes for their weakest and slowest. They run and she chases.

It was all comaradery before now, but now they're snappy and terse, blaming each other. The moral anchors and the smarter/caster type people are all dead. By the end of that chase scene theirs only four left, and one is bitten and in the grips of a fever and two of them think he's turning into one of her, into the hag-thing. The fourth tries to stop them, but anyone who could tell them that it's just a fever or whatever and that the whole "turning into a witch" thing is stupid, is dead and being eaten by the witch. They kill the sick guy, and then one of the killers kills the other, a halfling, because he tries to make him open the box and set off the runes for him, so that he can get at whatever witch-killing amulet is inside it. There's a tussle, the halfling is stabbed and dies, and by now it's down to one complete asshole and one guy who has gone cold and uncaring and wasn't particularly nice to begin with.

They trudge on, night is getting nearer, the witch will come again soon, and they finally reach the paladins camp. They're happy for a moment till they find he's dead, and dead all over the place, dead in peices. They freak out completely, until one of them finds his arm, just as night is falling, and they remember the words of the charm or whatever on the box, so they open it with the paladins hand, holding his severed arm...

..and there's nothing in the box. It's empty. They hear a horrible, soulless cackle in the distance, and the sun goes down and it's dark.

And then I woke up.

I vaguely recall something involving my friends from highschool, a hi-jacked German U-boat, and my shooting my old friends in the back of the head with a sniper rifle.

*shrugs* It was an odd day.
