Topic: The Feature Request Thread

Would it be possible to to have a "like post" box, for great posts, but not "admire-level" worthy ones?   What I mean is, a sort of thing where someone post great news in the happy thought thread, or a really nice bit of music I can give it a thumbs up, without ending up throwing out Admires left and right like candy at a parade, or excessive posting of "hey that was cool" response posts.  I kinda feel like Admire is for more signifcant postings, but I still want to tell people when they did something neat or interesting.

I figure if  post makes me laugh out loud, get a big grin or is quite clever, I applaud them. I make no distinction between like and admire. If it made me smile, I should make them smile too by applauding them. Everyone needs more applause.
