I don't do the 100 pushups consecutively. I break them up into sets of 10 or 20. I get to do 100 situps each day as well as part of my training for Protech Weapons Camp in May. Saturday I didn't quite make it. 60 pushups and 70 situps. Sunday, Monday and today I've done all 100 of each.

Getting in shape requires small steps. Small steps are hard because you don't feel like you're doing enough. It doesn't give you the same feeling of accomplishment at once that big changes do. Big changes are hard to stick with though.

So, today was the Day of SIlence at my school. A group of kids came to school in "Straight Pride" shirts.

What the fuck.

I'm so sad that so many people apparently hated my approach to modding in xForums, and yet not one person approached me, directly or indirectly, about it.

I'm tired and my head hurts and I agreed to make salad when all I want to do is sit like a lump and then go to sleep.

Also I had a dream this morning that someone's arm got cut off, and I for some reason was trying to tape a severed thumb back on to the severed arm, while worrying about how I was going to get the blood out of the wood floor. Wtf.
Yes is the word to everything.

Hi S_C-lady.

I sent you a PM, in case you don't get a pop up. I never notice when I've got one. ^_^

I hate being so fat and out of shape. I can't even go on a mile hike without thinking I'm going to die. I also hate that I can't sweat through my face so it just gets nice and beet-red, so everyone *always* asks, "Are you ok? Do you need to sit down a while?"

I want to find a new apartment, our landlord is shit and I'm tired of him yelling at us whenever we bring up a problem with the apartment.  I want to find an additional roommate so that we can rent a 3 bedroom and have a bigger place, yet I can't seem to find anyone who wants to live in Jersey City...  argh.
A solution to your problems...

I hate South Texas weather.  From now until Late October is going to be hell.  I intensely dislike getting all sweaty and yuck from a simple 10-minute walk to the apartment.

The girl I like is really stressed out today. She lost all the work she did today on an essay due to computer problems, she's convinced herself that it means she can't go on this trip she was looking forward to this weekend, and this on top of a lot of other stress I know she's been going through, and even more that she won't tell me about specifically. She was crying today -it was obvious, and other people saw her crying- but she won't admit to it. She also has to talk to a mutual friend about something, I don't know what. Hell, he doesn't know what. She just told him she needed to talk to him, asked for a cigarette (which has me really worried - she doesn't smoke), and walked off.

On top of this, I have a stupidly selfish worry. With all this happening today, I feel guilty for even thinking about it, but it's been there longer than today. I've been getting the feeling, ever-increasing since Spring Break, that she's no longer interested in me as anything more than a friend. This worry hasn't had much of a chance to develop only because every time I started thinking that way, something would happen to indicate there was still plenty of hope. Yesterday was a day of fantastically mixed messages...most of the messages, unfortunately, supporing my worry. I was thinking of just asking her if she still liked me...but with everything she's going through today, that doesn't seem the right thing to do.

Combined with all the other shit that's going on with school and home, I really just want to curl up in a corner and cry until everything goes away.

No matter the open, friendly policy....crying babies simply should not be allowed to cry for 20 minutes straight in the library.

10 minutes in, I would have asked either the parents or they librarians if they could do somethig to shut the baby up.  Like, take it outside maybe?

Not that I dislike babies(well... for the sake of argument), but the library is no place for screaming wailing.

Odd.

My sandals exploded today... of course then again they're over 10 years old.

I tried to start mediating again tonight.  You know, to calm down, relax and find my center and all that.  I do this everytime something happens and my life is on the reboot, but for some reason, I just couldn't get comfortable with the idea of it tonight.  I eventually ended up ditching the idea when my back spasmed as if to say, "Get your injured self off the goddamned floor, dumbass."

Someone I thought was my friend treats me as if I'm some repulsive disgusting creature every time I want to talk to him, just because there's a new girl in his life. All I want is a friend, I had so few to begin with and this hurts so very much.

Even tonight, I only went to a nearby bar because he said he'd be with me, since it's in a really high-crime area. As we were leaving, he spots this new jizz receptacle and said, "Change of plans, walk home by yourself"...so I did.

I was approached on my way home by two large black men, demanding that I hand them cash or they would kill me. All I could do in my fog of tears was scream, "I don't have any fucking money!" and run.

Things like this make me wish I hadn't pussied out and gone through with slitting my wrists last year.

Ab-Planks? You know those things where you hold your body ina pushup position, resting on your forearms?

That's some suck fo' yo' ass, right there.

Aren't those a yoga pose? I just always knew it as "plank" and it was full pushup postion, not on the elbows when I did it. Cause you go from "plank" to either "sun salutation", "warrior" or "downward facing dog".

"Plank" is a bitch to do when you're outta shape.  We had to do them for both Stage Movement and Weight Training.  We always did them on our elbows.
