that's the plank I'm talking about, only keeping the elbows in toward the shoulders

Google image search for "plank postion" confirms both ways are correct.
After trying both, much to my surprise, on the elbow is harder. I would have assumed the other way around.

...yes, yes he is.

I should start practicing.  It'd make a great party trick.  "Hey guys, watch this!"

....half an hour later:  "Isn't this awesome?  I can stay like this for another couple hours easy!"

I hate it. The only times I get to talk to you anymore are when are tired off your rocker and don't make sense anymore. Contrary to popular belief, you are a shitty conversationalist when you are falling asleep on the phone with me. And the thing I hate the most is that I find myself annoyed and dissapointed when you are tired. It's awful and I hate myself for it, but I can't stop it. :/

Our stove lost a burner yesterday when the fucking elemental coil thingie burned itself out as in SETTING ITSELF ON FIRE.

Yeah.  Because our house isn't ENOUGH of a shithole.

See last vent. Increase worries and desire to curl up in a corner and cry until everything goes away by ten. That's me at this moment.

Edit: I'm also rather worried that my desire to sleep and sleep and sleep to make everything go away has been returning lately. That was a trait of my suicidal days. Combined with the type of mental freakouts I was having toward the end of last term, another trait of my suicidal days, I'm worried I may slip back into that mindset despite my determination not to. I'm very, very scared.

And yet, you didn't burn with it.  How disappointing.

You smug, ineffectual piece of shit. You sit behind your stupid fucking desk treating people like crap and believing that no one is ever to go through the hassle of reporting your useless, hateful ass. Well, guess what? I AM. You are now my pet project, dipshit.

Ever since I was threatened last night (see previous vent) I've been super depressed, anxious and scared to go outside. To make matters worse, the friend I was supposed to walk home with is still laughing at me, and says he'll press charges of harassment if I keep talking to him.

Frankly, the "friend" you're referring to is an asshole, and you're better off NOT talking to him.  I'm sorry you've got to deal with crap like that, but in a situation where he's going to be abusive, you'll be in a better place removing that cancer from your life.

Aw, Di. I'm so sorry. I wish I knew what to say. I'm sending positive vibes your way. Please don't hurt yourself. You're a dear, and you bring a lot of good into this world. PM me if there is something I can do, or if you just wanna vent, 'kay?

My right forearm hurts a LOT. Being short means blocking your head a lot in sparring class. That in turns means fucking sore forearm. Ouch...

And I still have a lot of pushups and situps left to do today. *whimper*

If it gets really bad, Hippie, I highly recommend this stuff called "Ivy-dry". It's a little into the expensive side, but it clears that shit up like magic. I use the scrub, but I think there is a lotion too.

GAH.

Tool is going on tour.  The closest they're coming to Portland is fucking SEATTLE, the concert would be May 2nd which is a TUESDAY, and even if I could connive a way to get up there and get out of paper layout the tickets go on sale TOMORROW and I don't have the $66 they cost.

God-fucking-dammit, I wanna see Tool! >:( >:( >:(
If I could just reach orbit, then I'd be a wanted fan.

Grrr... they keep playing that fucking commercial.

Jesus Christ, the last thing I want to see when I'm trying to fucking relax is a t-bone collision viewed from an in-car perspective.  I understand you want people to think your car is some super car that can survive a hit like that and want to get the most out of your scare tactics... but jeeze have a sense of decency for the people who actually WERE in wrecks like that.  Glimpses of headlights followed by the sudden sound of metal on metal do not give me happy thoughts!

Get out of my fucking HEAD!!! I don't WANT to think about you any more! I don't want to BROOD any more! I'm done with you, so why can't I just ignore you!?
"There's a time when the operation of the machine becomes so odious, makes you so sick at heart, that you can't take part, you can't even passively take part, and you've got to put your bodies upon the gears and upon the wheels, upon the levers, upon all the apparatus, and you've got to make it stop! And you've got to indicate to the people who run it, to the people who own it, that unless you're free, the machine will be prevented from working at all!" - Mario Savio
