If Christ came back today, a lot of these so-called "Christians" would be stoning him in the streets.

Apparently a critter of some kind has gotten into the house between the living room ceiling and upstairs bedroom floor, and cant get out. Its making scritchy noises and my cats are looking confused.

I dont want this thing to die in the walls, nor do I want it getting into the actual house. How am I supposed to get it out?

Dear workplace: You're really giving me an awful lot of dis-incentive to be as speedy and efficient as I am.
I really don't understand why after doing all of *my* work [which was, yet again, the lion's share of what came in the door today] plus taking care of about five other tasks that aren't really even mine to begin with I'm expected to start doing other people's work because they aren't getting enough done.

Next time, I'm just going take my sweet time with the stuff that comes in the door, let it sit there for half my shift, and if anyone asks, I'll just point to it and say "Sorry, can't. Busy." Which is, basically what the day shift does most of the time.
[I've been there during the day, I've seen them do it.]

And I still love, after all the grief they like to still occasionally give me about being on the forklift, the second they don't want to move something themselves, they ask me.

HNNNNNNNNGGGHHHHHHHH.

Apply face to wall. Rinse. Repeat.

My shoulder can just stop it now.  PT is helping, but not enough.  Steroid shot time, I'm pretty sure.

Call #1: "Sorry, we have no paperwork on you."
Call #2: "Okay, your paperwork was sent over, but it was sent over after the deadline, so it won't be processed until tomorrow morning."
Call #3: "Can you call back in like 30-40 minutes? It should work then."

All I need is my password reactivated. I know perfectly well that once the paperwork is sent, this takes five minutes max-- most of which is propagating the change across the servers and multiple applications. Why are you making this difficult???

Sorry, Maj, but I'm across the street in foreign territory. Call #4 managed to work but some of my colleagues are up to call #5 already. We're up to the attending stage now. :(

Why must a character's name be so hard to come up with?  Why can't I get past this one hiccup?  Damn you, brain!

My new work shoes hurt my feet.  Or, specifically, they hurt my LEFT foot.  No matter how loosely I lace my left shoe, it always feels like there's a sharp fold in the tongue that's digging into the top of my foot.  I had the last three days off, so I stayed home and didn't put on shoes once, and this morning the top of my foot STILL ached like it was bruised.

The last time I bought shoes, I got the same brand, style and size I'd gotten before, and I had to exchange them because they gave me such terrible blisters.  Why is it so difficult to find affordable shoes that fit me properly?!
If I could just reach orbit, then I'd be a wanted fan.

Actually the whole thing was probably caught on our dock security cameras.
And, to be perfectly honest, I'll bet it's probably funny as f*ck.
