The old guy who writes this had been trying to turn his idea into something big forever.  He even landed deals deals with tv networks and even DC Comics once, but they all fell through.
In the end he decided "fuck it", he'd just draw it himself and post it on the web...and to the benefit of us all. 

The guy's been in the cartoons and comics forever and it utterly shows.  Its not just some kid with a tablet, that's for sure.

As for the comic itself, its a new take on Lovecraftian horror (perhaps), with not-quite an inside look on the things that may have influenced the man himself.
