He should just be phoning this in, really.  A few fart jokes here, a Snape joke there and then back to the main plot.  Inventing stuff for a pointless parody is just.... dumb.

Try to remember, though, that this is what Pete does. Aylee and her story arcs are the direct result of a parody. Bun-Bun's feud with Santa was just a funny little thing until it turned epic. And so on and so forth.

I doubt that's going to happen here, but Pete doesn't really seem to like phoning it in, even when he has to due to, well, life. If he weren't willing to put some effort into it, I doubt he'd do Torg Potter anymore at this point. He may be sick of "a few fart jokes here, a Snape joke there".

There's something really addictive in doing and pulling off something ridiculously large in scale.

I like Torg Potter, because I like how he's able to point out the ridiculousness in the books (here's this huge Wizard thing which everyone's heard of, even though there hasn't been even a peep of it in the past 3 books, but I totally didn't *just* make it up, I swear!)

Potter had been out of the wizarding world forever.  He gets back and then in the fourth year there's a wizarding tournament.  It's not like people talk about the Olympics all the time before an olympic year.

Anyways, maybe he'll lose this year and that'll be that for the wizards.  I mean if they're getting this many strips, why aren't they showing up in other canon story lines?

*Necro*

So maybe I'm not reading it right, but does anyone else feel like he somehow missed something?  Like there should have been something between the last comic and today's?  Or am I looking for too much and it's just random dream sequence (though nothing in this comic ever seems to be truly random...).

Seems random.  Cheese and bacon.  If its not as random as it seems to be, then we'll probably find out about that later, if at all.

Out of curiosity, any Defenders of the Nifty here know what the extra info is for this comic?

Well, here's a Monica and Kusari in the same place, but Sasha is still in the running I guess...

Nevermind.  Looking at it more closely I think I was wrong.

Is it just me, or is there more chemistry between Torg and Sasha than there EVER was between Torg and Zoe?

For those who may not check everyday (like I do), Pete has announced that he's coming to the Emerald City Comic-Con up in Seattle. This makes me quite excited, as I've never gotten to meet him yet. Anyone else going to be coming to this?
