[XKCD] Humor with Stick Figures
« on: September 10, 2006, 02:26:05 AM »
So I make no claims as to being Teh Ferst 2 Lyke Thees comic, but I came across it from the Bunny Comic archives and am finding it very amusing.  Just thought I'd see who else reads it and what they think of it.  I'm still pretty early in the archive (I think) and wanted to share this comic from it.  I thought it was brilliant.

xkcd is freaking weird and very funny at times.  In some ways I'm really hoping he's making fun of emo people, or otherwise this guy is quite emo...

also, make sure to mouse over the pictures, the notations he puts on them are hilarious.

Man I just looked this over.

I'm a huge fan of the way this guy does landscape-type stuff with a pen/pencil.

The guy does seem to be a bit emo at times, but by and large he amuses me.  Maybe I missed it, but what's his update schedule?

I really liked the dig he had at Penny Arcade.

I just read the archives, followed fromt he ctrl+v thread.

Good stuff; a lot of comics I have seen before, posted in threads like these.

Some of the math jokes are over my head, but I really dig XKCD. I may never forgive the person who turned me on to it, though; I needed more comics like I need another hole in my head :P

XKCD updates MWF.

I love the mouseover captions as well.  I prefer the playpen balls and angular momentum one, but then, I'm just a softie.

I don't think he's emo. Mostly he uses the emoness as a set up to a "Your MOM" joke :)

This is just to voice my heartfelt approval of today's comic. Although the caption probably doesn't say what he thinks it should. :-)

XKCD speaks such truth.

This correlates to this (Carter bunny attack [obligatory Starlock reference]).

And This correlates to
this Small | Large
(YouTube stupidity over moon landing [Another Starlock reference for the hell of it]).

IT'S ALL TRUE!
