If you are only noticing PBF, you are so behind the times. Tongue

They seem like they've been fizzing of late, but some of the early ones are priceless.

XKCD still has PBF beat hands down though.

Not your typical chinaman.

Nooooooo you can't say that.  They are two -different- comics, with two different styles.  Its like comparing apples and puppies.

XKCD does not beat PBF. That is just a very wrong and terrible thing to say, and since I typically think you are a good egg, 'cole, I am going to strike it from your record! Both have delectable bite-y humor, but PBF shows it strongly in a visual way while XKCD has more math-y sciency references and stick figures... WHATEVER THEY ARE BOTH GOOD.

Nice try, Zarflax!

Disagree on the XKCD, and PBF was actually brought to my attention by OMGJeremy's Amanda Wood about maybe a year ago, when she and the artist behind the whole thing started being all pen-pally.

Just wanted to make sure everybody knowed about it.

PBF is very good stuff, though lately it has been lagging a bit. I'm still scouring the archives of Partiality Clips which runs along an equally twisted but very different vein.

The look of the guy in the green bullet, last panel, really makes this one for me.

Yeah, PBF has been a favourite here in Mac Eng for a few years.
The yearly handbook usually contains at least one or two comics, with a big hearty link to the site.

The Parking Lot is Full is another one which used to recieve a few nods each year....

Too bad that one died.  There were some brilliantly surreal pieces.

Not your typical chinaman.

A little late on the uptake.

But, I just (re)discovered the ZetaChannel thread about the great PBF, and whether or not you are in the know about it, I had to say this:

Nick, PBF was a great comic.  I know you may come back once in a navy blue moon to post a comic when you feel like it, but you've said it yourself, its as good as gone.

RIP PBF

I was very sad that I only discovered PBF after it had stopped updating.  Goodbye PBF, I hardly knew you.
