I had forgotten about it for a while until Jeph Jacques reminded me. It's beautifully drawn and very atmospheric.

I read this religiously.
It really is a perfect blending of sci-fi and high fantasy. I wish it were further along, though. Just cause I WANT TO KNOW WHAT HAPPEEEEEENS!!! D:

Y'know, I keep meaning to read it. Jenny from TZH recommended it to me the night I had her come in to talk to my comix class, and I've never gotten around to it.

The whole site suddenly freaked out this afternoon. It made me sad, as I was trying to get through the archives again at the time.

The site has probably been flooded with curious people ever since Jeph linked it. That's the downside to being linked by a popular webcomic.
I got to Chapter 10 before it crapped out on me.

It is, and I'm totally kicking myself for not reading it before this. I've known of the artist for years, but didn't know he had a webcomic.

Both Questionable Content and Diesel Sweeties linked the comic yesterday. It's gonna be wonky for a while.

Well, I'd imagine, with the upbringing she had, not a lot could rattle her.

She warmed up and became less cold and logical and detached after she finally broke down and had a good cry
(click to show/hide)
about her mum being dead,
which I thought was totally believable and extremely compelling emotional writing.
Gunnerkrigg Court. So behind on it, though. When I finally get around to catching up, Ill have at least a month of new comics.

Indeed, so do I. Starting from page 1 I'm caught up to chapter 14 now, and there's still so much to go. :-)
Which is good, really. The artwork doesn't do a whole lot for me, but the setting, story and characters are all pretty darn compelling.

I read it all yesterday while I was supposed to be paying attention in class; oh my god, so pretty! And I love the story!
Can't wait to forget about it, then read all the archives.

He was doing a thing for a while where if you donated twenty dollars, he'd draw a picture for you.
My friend's birthday was coming up and he kept talking about how much he wanted a cannon. He loves this comic like woah and I got an idea. I donated twenty dollars and asked that if it wasn't too much, could he draw a boy with a mohawk and a cannon?
I got this:
I am filled with both squee and yey.
