I *heart* pie (sexily).
Thank you! I plan on expanding the pattern so it becomes a super huge choker. I used gold plate findings and garnet beads, and a little bit of the garnet colored Swaroski crystals of various sizes.
I love the wide neck look with a huge choker to cover the bare skin.

Sanya, I am sure you will outstrip me after you've been fiddling a while.
BTW, Firemountain has a section of ideas and tutorials for a lot of stuff, if you're looking for technique.
Also, I'd like to note that I aroused Mach.

Adorkable.
I'd be impressed that you aroused Mach, if it weren't so damned easy to do.
I mean, he's no S*S, but he's still easily led.
Edit to add: 1616 is a fun postcount.

Inspired by some stuff I picked up from Ebay, I am endeavoruing to manufacture my own uber-creepy Day of the Dead bracelets. Some maybe with colorful flowery beads meshed with the creepy, others more sane and rational with the creepy.

I found some more pics of my stuff. Oddly enough, they were hiding in a folder labelled "Jewelry Pictures". I is a ditz.
These aren't the fanciest things I've done, but they're some of the most wearable.

Query, for all you bracelet/necklace beadsmithy folks.
Strong, very thin material for stringing stuff on.
I have some of that wirey jewlry wire stuff, is... Is that what I should probably use?
Do...Do they make any sort of strong, tough cord or anything that would work too?
Or do I basically just use the wire stuff for stuff with small holes?

High tensile strength fishing line? The type for deep sea fishing, for marlin and such, would be thicker.

I don't like using monofilament. It's diffucult to knot well and stretches too much.
In my opinion the fine bead wire is your best bet. If you need more flexibility silkon cord is nice. And if you want stretchy, get the clear Stretch Magic.
If you haven't looked at
Fire Mountain
check them out. I think they ship to Canadia.

Yeah, I prefer beading wire. Finish the end with a crimp bead, tucking the tail back and crimping both halves.

Yes I know these pale in comparison to the might and Grandeur of Zahnnie's work.
Warning! Nox hands ahead.
So I decided to make my hands prettier so people will be lulled into a false sense of security before I strangle them. Fist aluminum with blue anodized aluminum.
Second is basic stainless steel. Sorry I ran out of links.
A variation on something I saw in a book I got for Christmas. The green links are my inspiration.
Sprucing up classic pattern with hints of color. I was thinking I needed more green.
Basic pattern but it looks somewhat delicate.
Using similar pattern to Tora's choker but much smaller links and hematite rather than tiger's eye. Yes the aspect ratio is off for this but I only have what I have in stock. I'm not making constant money at this.
