Where are the D&D minis? I have to see where I am!
Are you a musician? What do you play? How long have you been playing it?

Me, I've been playing the clarinet for years and years and years (since I was...12? so, about 10 years, nearly 11).  I miss it, I really do.  I haven't picked up my clarinet since I graduated  highschool.

I've played the tin whistle as well, and the flute for a tiny bit in highschool.  I can play around on a piano ok too.

Ooooh music... I sometimes sing... I play guitar and piano/keyboard well enough to accompany myself... I have low level skills at bass, harmonica and pan-pipes... And I mess around with any instrument I can find. Also kazoos are awesome.

I used to be able to play flute a little, but I let that skill fade... Sad.

That's a tough instrument to play!  I tried it but I didn't have the lung power to do it really well.  Its' got a great sound. ^^

My main instruments are guitar and fretless bass, but I have been known to be able fake most anything that I don't have to blow into.

Played trumpet in high school for about 6 years. Haven't really played since, though I have picked it up once or twice just for kicks.

I'm thinking about picking the conga drums back up, and maybe trying to learn how to play bass guitar. Cause bass guitar is sex.

How long do you have?

My main instrument is bassoon.  My other instruments that I play with any regularity are sax (mostly bari, sometimes tenor, soprano or alto when I absolutely have to) and mallet percussion.  In a pinch, I can play clarinet, bass clarinet, oboe, piano, and sing.  I fake my way through hand drumming and auxillary percussion a lot.  At some point, I'm thinking about learning bass.  I played violin for a year, but it ended badly.  Also, not quite an instrument, but it is band-related: I've been spinning flag and rifle for a few months now with an indoor color guard.

I wanna learn to play the tin whistle and the bagpipes really well. ^^

Well, I originally started off with the regular clarinet, but I made the switch because of one simple reason:
Long, whole notes. *grins* Nice and easy. I don't do fast music. Long, whole, notes.

LOL That's awesome!  I was first clarinet for a few years and that's a lot of high quick notes but you get the solos and I love the attention.^^

Thanks, Gimli.  My mom started me playing music when I was 3, and it just took off from there.  I was thinking about getting a degree in bassoon performance and a master's in woodwind doubling, but I went with engineering instead.  I still try to play as much as I can, though.

I played the cello for a long time, though was never any good. I now have a acoustic guitar that I sometimes mess around with, though my knowledge of it is very rudimentary.

P.S. If Peebs is gonna list it here, I might as well too. In high school, I was on the color guard/flag team. We only played with flags, never got to mess around with the rifles though there were some lying around.

Banana hammock.
I play whatever I can find.  I have guitars, a flute, and piano/keyboard that I can play pretty well.  I also have a soprano recorder that is annoying, and a harmonica that I make noise on.  I'm forgetting at least three things.

I suck at drums.

I am a singer.  That's my favorite instrument and the one that I am best at.

I like writing songs, but sometimes it doesn't work right.  I still try Smile
