Remains to be seen if we'll even get a Republican convention, there's been word of it maybe being canceled or postponed due to Gustav.

The very worst part of me says this is what happens when Dobson tells his followers to pray for torrential rain. But that would be wrong.

See, if I were more cynical, or at least not agnostic, I would say that the Dobson people's prayers were answered.  It's only that God decided to rain out the Republicans, thinking, "I can't have these bozos representing me for another four years.  I like the guy who actually believes in me."
