I generally lean towards the idea that idiot rulings like this are the cause of either crack or monkeys.

And, no, it doesn't have to make sense for me to lean towards an idea, so long as it amuses me and ensures I don't have to consider other, more realistic options, such as bigotry, social elitism, and class discrimination, all of which fall under the huge catch-all category of "idiocy."
