Well, I have left my McJob, for those of you who didn't know. I have a sweet gig at Sunday River, doing banquets (a year-round job). The pay is great, and I really enjo the work (part waiter, part butler, is how I describe it).

So I am looking to move to Bethel. This does not mean I won't be in the OH, or doing plays here or other wonderful things. The good pay means I might finally get a car!!!

Which means none of you are going to be safe from spontaneous visitation, ever again.

Disenchanted spinner of syllables

Endless grey- cracked and colorless earth stretching out in every direction, expressionless, flat, withered and dead. She is only an awareness of the vast emptiness, and she turns in circles, chain mail clattering against plate leggings, but the sound is instantly swallowed by a vacuum, and she stares outward, upward, all around- nothing, nothing, nothing. She tries to cry out, but her mouth opens and fills with sand, and suddenly, she's swimming- this dry vast grey desert has become a thousand miles of water, crushing down on her, but still the endless nothing.

Odynae stands, feet firmly planted, warrior stance readied- she holds her shield high, the tip of a blazing sword visible just behind it. Her features have as much expression as a slab of granite, and she stares at the massive line of monsters rushing towards her, grip tightening on her armaments. Her hair floats behind her helm in the wind of ten thousand warriors rushing forward, and she stands alone, but for the enemies several hundred feet away... like an unstoppable wave, then come towards her, battlecries and screeches and screams deafening- yet the paladin holds herself steady, tucking behind her shield, and readying herself for the inevitable.

Onwards they pour, however, and their lines parts, miraculously sending the screaming, whooping horde spilling all around her. The storm of their passing barely avoids her, and she stares incredulously, dropping her guard, and looking about in bewilderment. As she turns to stare, one cries out- "Sister! Daughter!" And they thunder on.

She whirls, and sees that the army stands far behind
