I second PuPP's suggestion.

I'm with Sinic.
Although getting slapped might make a fun picture, I don't think it'll help us on our quest.

I think people may see a difference between stuff like sitting on the cow, or messing with the blacksmith AFTER you've bought a sword- things that DON'T derail the mission, VS creeping out/pissing off the one lady in town who knows where to find the place you've been staying, which very well might. :)

Yeah, but it won't necessarily derail the mission... It's playing a character!

I think our character has multiple personality disorder.  ;)

Maybe some of us have played too many text based adventure games. My natural instinct is to give random nonsensical input to illicit hilarious responses because that is what I always do in text games.

Have we asked the lady about the name we wrote on the shield yet?  'Cause we should totally do that.

Such as when you're a thief and you attempt to increase lockpick skills via "pick nose".... Usually, it works. "Success, you now have an open nose." Occasionally, however, things go very, very wrong.... Brain hemmorage-y wrong. :)

>Stop being a douche
>Follow girl at respectful pace
>make sure to do any ogling discreetly, as a gentleman of breeding might
>strike last, remind that it's a gentleman of breeding who actually listened to the whole chivalry thing and reminded himself unarmed maidens are not fair game / chattel / spoils of arms even if they're not actually nobility
>follow female personage keeping eyes, hands, and all other body parts firmly within six inch radius of main body

So I dropped this when my laptop died and I lost all of my pictures and backgrounds. However, I think I'm just about bored enough to redraw them. Would anyone be interested in a quick recap and then a continuation of the game?

YES

Don't expect me to be any less absurd with my suggestions though.

:yeah: I just read this whole thread, loling all the way. Apparently one of the major figures of pre-Conquest England had a period where he auditioned as a village idiot.  >:D

I didn't play the Sierra text adventures because I played the Infocom text adventures. This whole idea of having pictures is intruiging.  :nerd:

I've started a new one here, for now. I want to see how the blog format works out for this. All are welcome to give it a try. :D
