Ridley's a staple. He's also really distinctive. As all alpha characters should be, after all. But he's also the alpha, and also a staple of the series, so when asked, people will fire for someone else.

Its kind of like saying Superman is your favorite superhero. Of course he's awesome, the justice league wouldn't be able to do squat without him, but nobody's gonna say he's their favorite.

That and he's a boyscout and a dick.
