Facebook is required. 

CHASE has an annual big money giveaway to various charities and non-profits based on what organizations get the most people to vote for their cause.  Last year, the place that my wife is a head keeper and veterinary technician at (Project Survival's Cat Haven) (www.cathaven.com) placed in the top ten and were set to receive something like $200,000.  After the contest was over, CHASE contacted them and told them that several hundred of their votes wouldn't count because they all came from duplicate IP addresses.  What had happened, was the Cat Haven had set up several laptops in their gift shop for guests to sign in to facebook and vote for them while the guests were there on the premises.  Unknown to the Cat Haven at the time, the duplicate IP addresses of all the votes were flagged by CHASE/facebook as fraudulent, so in the end, the Cat Haven got nothing but a big "Oh, by the way, you don't get anything even though you won."

The contest started up again a day or two ago for this year, and the Cat Haven needs money more now than ever.

This is the only time you will ever see me promoting any kind of facebook app, I would really appreciate any help you could give the non-profit that my wife works for by clicking on this link and voting for Project Survival. You do have to "like" a page, and you do have to click "allow" for a facebook app, but it's not evil, and it doesn't track you or share any kind of information with anybody. It just keeps count of who has voted already so you can't cheat and vote again.  The whole process takes about 5 seconds.

I will never ask for you to vote for anything other than this, if my wife's organization gets in the top percentile, they stand to get a HUGE donation from CHASE bank. I'm sorry to bother you with this, it's hypocritical to the stance I usually take when people ask for me to vote for something that I've never heard of or have a relation to, but it's for my wife, and an organization that I've started to volunteer for and get involved with.  They're a good place, with good people, trying to save awesome and beautiful animals.
