1) Where do comments, compliments, complaints, and questions about ZetaChannel (the forum itself) go?

2) What the frell is up with the spell-checker?

2) I'm working on it. I can't seem to duplicate the problems some people are having.

For the record, I wasn't getting nasty with you or any of the other support staff. I seem to recall there even being some mention of the Spell Checker before.

Maybe we should have a thread like this stickied so that people who have an issue with the mechanics of the forum could complain or take note of the progress of such issues.

I have no sound when I play embedded media files in Zchann. I have sound everywhere else I go.

I can't log in to Zch when I'm at home. (I'm posting this from Bistromath's apartment.) Whenever I try I get a "503: Service Temporarily Unavailable" error, regardless of when I try and even when I know Bistro just logged in.

I've been meaning to bring this up for a while, but keep forgetting.

I can't use the "Quote" option. I mean, I can type the code in if I want, but I can't click on the quote option on anybody's post to have it show up in my response with the name and date and time.

I'm primarily use Safari on a MacBook Pro (hence, of the Intel variety), and I've also tried it with Firefox. I've also tried both programs being opened with or without Rosetta.

Sounds like JavaScript isn't working. If you click on a smiley, does it make the code in the reply window?

I have a Mac too and I could never get Quote to work on Safari. But it works fine for me on Firefox and Opera.

Until I get a Mac, or a PC with OSX86, I can't fix Safari bugs. However, may I humbly suggest Camino as an alternative?

What version of Firefox? I'm currently using (for instance) 2.0, and I'm able to log in. Are you both using the same version at each of your homes? And what OS? That could make a difference as well... As could add-in's, if you're both using Firefox.

Ah. Updated Firefox and now it works.

There's a popup window that says "retrieving quote". It comes up in Safari as it does in Firefox, it just doesn't translate into code in the quick reply window.

*sigh* I guess I just need to make the switch to Firefox, but I can't explain why I just like Safari more.

Has she tried using IE? (Not that I recommend anyone use IE, but just for troubleshooting purposes.)
Is she able to log into other sites? Is it a privacy or cookie setting perhaps?

I seriously doubt this is a browser issue of any stripe, but I'll ask her about it.
