Looking for a good/simple Desktop wallpaper changer programme
« on: November 20, 2011, 07:16:02 AM »
Hey guys, need a little bit of help/advice about which Desktop Wallpaper programme to use - you know the ones that will change your desktop on a timed basis.

Since getting a new laptop, I have an abundance of awesome wallpapers and I'd like them all to be regularly circulated without having to keep changing it manually.

I've read about these desktop changer progs casually on another forum I visit (which is down at the moment) so I was wondering if any of Zch peeps have one and which one would you recommend. The simpler the better, I'm not interested in tweeking loads of settings, mainly just want it to use wallpapers from one file and change them on a timely basis.

Thanking you kindly in advance  :).

What operating system are you using, Miss Seven?
A friend disappointed me a short while ago. She e-mailed a message with the subject line 'Trap Neuter Return' and the message had nothing to do with the Duggar family. *sad* -Hippie

How appropriate.

I'm pretty sure Windows Seven does what you're looking for natively.

You'd think it would, but it doesn't I have to often update it with software to perform the way I want. Laptop and body *nods*...not a Cyborg...not *shakes head*.

My husband's computer also had something in the power settings that was turning the desktop rotation off, so that's something else to check if just setting it up through the Control Panel doesn't work.

Love you too Meta.

In my defence, I was changing wallpapers by selecting the picture, right-click to set as desktop - still that doesn't excuse the fact I missed that option. Happy ending though!

Hurrah!
