Im sorry to be a complete and total asshole, but I don't have a spare ticket anymore. Id already brought one for the friend Im going with, she subsequently lost it, and so now I need to default the extra onto her.

A thousand apologies. Ill... buy you a... bucket of ice and a coffee? At burning man, which Ill definitely be attending.

Oh, joy!

No, I'd rather see you there than get a cheaper ticket.

...say, are your travel plans made yet? I plan to arrive Sunday, overnight at the Sands (good food, cheap rooms, full of Burners), and ride in with someone early-ish Monday morning. Repeat-reverse at the end.
