"Big damn heroes, sir!"

The Texas Supreme Court says that physically assaulting a minor is Constitutionally-protected free speech, as long as the minor in question is full of demons.

Not really news, but borrowed the link from FARK:

Pay attention to the animated gif in the top right corner.

*facepalm* Naive innocent librarians are naive.

Edit: And in the WTF department, check out one of their rules:

Quote
No downloading, chat rooms, email, or blogs allowed.

*ponders* So, the student library cyber cafe, doesn't actually have any cybering going on, despite their animated gif advertising just that.

See kids, this is an example of web design gone wrong.

TGU, is that actually the right link, or a copy-paste mistake?

I have serious issues with the way they seem to dismiss the rape in that story.

If it were a woman who had been kidnapped and forced to have sex while tied to a bed, there would have been an outcry, not an 'entertaining' trial.  And I highly doubt the attacker, no matter how handsome, would not have gone free.
