Anything new and exciting?  I've been listening to a lot of Feist lately, with some Mates of State thrown in every now and then.

Not your monkey.

Lot of repeat spins of John Cale, Elvis Costello, Radiohead... the BIG NEW THING that I've been going crazy over for two months is the upcoming TV On The Radio album, which leaked (unmastered) and is basically one of the most fucking amazing things I've ever heard.

Not here anymore.

The new Dresden Dolls cd... also,  Pretty Girls Make Graves new cd,  Elan Vitalia.  Awesome stuff.  Found the latter via Myspace, and was highly impressed.

Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Bowling for Soup, Postal Service, The Iron Maidens (all female tribute band) and....

Pearl Jam. I rediscovered some of the older albums in my collection. Now I'm thinking about getting tickets to go see them somewhere this summer.

I miss being a DJ at a bleeding edge station. I miss knowing about good music years before it hit the mainstream. Time to start listening to Fritz and KTRU again.

A DJ from Cali visited for a while and got me hooked on Peaches and Avenue D.  As always listing to lots of Depeche Mode and New Order, and I've got some french trance-ish stuff that I can't recall the name of but love.

I've also been listening to this in my head, but I've no clue what it's called.  I thought it started "I was sitting in the parlor.....da da dah dah da dah dah, da dah dah da da dah dah" but my google-foo has failed me.

Podcasts. While I still love the music collection on my mp3 player, I'm slightly bored with it right now. Also, for some reason, music doesn't hold much of an appeal to me right now. So I'm listening to a bunch of podcasts for variety and informational content.

I *heart* pie (sexily).

I've had the Buffy Musical songs stuck in my head a lot lately, so I've been listening to that soundtrack.

Since I broke up with my girlfriend, I've been listening to The Cure a lot.

Stabbing Westward's Darkest Days album, and the Cruxshadows, too.

Of course, I'm just acting like a depressive goth emo-boi...

We know it's full of PRECIOUS BOOTY.

I've recently picked up The Soft Bulletin, Yoshimi Battles The Pink Robots and At War With The Mystics by The Flaming Lips; I'm currently waiting for delivery of the Gnarls Barkley album.

Eheheeh. That's awesome. Not about your girlfriend, but about listening to the Cure. That's hardcore 80's style right there.

I've been listening to random stuff like Eve6, the new Placebo, Squirrel Nut Zippers, Jerry Cantrell, Sisters of Mercy, Everclear. I'm so 80s/90s it's sad.

Mr. Imp

I'm going through a sorta hard rock stage. Like Disturbed, Zombie, etc......but, I've got some Eve6 on my playlist, some Seether, etc.  Not sure where that puts me, so I'll stick with "eclectic"

Just grabbed the Instrumental version of Cells by The Servants, as used in the soundtrack for the Sin City movie. I'll be listening to this non stop for the next few days I think, sprinkled in with Vicarious.

Oh gosh, a mix of all kinds of stuff. Lots more female rock than previously though.

Bowie as ever, Concrete Blonde, Bif Naked, T-Rex, GnR, Crue, the new Moz album, Lucinda Williams, the White Stripes... Really, I like EVERYTHING. Even crap.

I got a two CD set of 'The Best of Andrew Loydd Weber' a few weeks ago, and I've been listening to it almost constantly.  I have a burning desire to see Jesus Christ Superstar and Evita now.
