I'm nothing if not curious so I managed to find it.  It's... well... it's special.  It would probably be worse if the guy could actually draw.  Not exactly sure what it says about me that I'm not terribly disgusted by it.  More just "meh."

I would love to have an editor. I can't afford one. So I have my "beta" readers, to borrow a fanfic term, who help me because they want to know what happens before anyone else does. And I rely on my readers to keep me honest.

I don't think AE's full of shit on the whole new media thing. I don't think it's going to supersede publishing, but there is a market out there that isn't being served by the traditional industry. There is enough of a market that AE's making a living and I'm making a nice bit of supplemental cash. I am certainly making more off my writing than most first-time novelists, though I've stopped calling what I do an online novel and in my head at least I call it what it is: A soap opera. "Serial" sounds more respectable, but frankly, I'm not interested in being respectable. I'm interested in being read. That doesn't mean I pander; respectable stuff just doesn't come out of me without it sounding stilted and altogether wrong.

On days when the muse doesn't answer the call, I just don't update. It doesn't happen often, but then, I'm not updating six days a week and I only have the one serial going; the muse isn't stretched quite so thin.

And now I'm babbling. I'm really tired. Best stop before I faceplant...

The thing with me an the Dolcett gynophagia is mostly the ... dialog.  It's nauseatingly wasteful or something.

The wastefulness, really, and the sickness associated with being obsessed with that.  Like finding someone whose ultimate fantasy is to set fire to all the grain on earth just to jack off to it.
