So the elves made a set of these cuffs so they could make the human boys they stole to rape turn into stags so they could then chase them down to presumably turn them back into humans and fuck/rape them again?

How romantic.

In the Hydra story, though, wasn't the person who was the lover of the cuffed guy a chick?  That kind of fucks up the mythos or at least doesn't initially seem to make a lick of sense.  So the male elves who made these cuffs decided to give one to a chick so she could hunt down her stag lover... and then hammer him with a strap-on?

As a general rule (that I just made up), stories go downhill whenever anyone involved changes into a deer.

Also, we're back to beating Mack for not standing up for herself or whatever. Bleh. Im not even gonna bother reading these two updates. Maybe later.

Considering that not only is Iason still alive, but Iamie and Iason are still (or again?) together a couple of weeks down the road, Iamie has just lost all remaining respect from me.

As for the main story line, I like Amaranth trying to be a bit more responsible, but we'll see how that goes. The bonus story was interesting, though. Kind of train-wrecky, but still interesting.

AE really really does not go in for the "Always Chaotic Evil" thing, except with demons. And so that means while we have to endure Dee's scolding that dark elves arn't really evil, just misunderstood, and history lessons on the tribal orc race and how the evil human Empire came into their lands and gave them smallpox and killed all their bison and what have you, so too we need to learn that elves are pompous dicks, and dwarves are tight-knit little clans that are uniformly polite to women, and that they'll cheerfully murder you and decapitate your favourite horse if you even think about stealing their shinies.
