Unless we're looking to change it to caulkenbawlz.org... I don't think the name change is necessary.
As others have said. People have become accustomed and attached to the ZetaChannel name.
There's no real need to change it.

Besides, Nikita already has a zCh tattoo on her hip!  You can't make Pixie's drawings of a nekkid woman inaccurate, now can you?

On topic:  Name seems to be popular as is.  As for appearance and functionality, I appreciate that you went out of your way to work with us as far as colors and buttons and smileys and things went.  That was recent enough that I don't feel like there's a lot that needs changing so far as that stuff goes.  The current look is functional, simple, understated, and not annoying.  I'm a fan.

Sorry Bozz, but I gotta vote for keeping the name as well.  I mean, Zeech is just... what I've grown accustomed to.

All these and more. We've got a hard site to name as it is...it's a lot more varied than most forums I come across. most focus in more, at least on a specific interest (like music) or location (regional community forums) if not a specific thing (like a band, TV show, book series, etc.) - we, however, just go and say, "You like something? Anything? Cool. We like things, too." So as it is, we're stuck with a pretty generic pick of names, as it is.

So you add that to the fact that we don't really have a bad name...and Hell, the Wii has a terrible name, but most folks don't blink twice at it anymore. ZetaChannel is a good name. I never really got it, honestly, but I could easily think up a bajillion different "deep meanings" for it if I wanted to. I never really followed the whole *chan movement/plague/whatever, but I honestly doubt anyone would ever look at this place and confuse it for being that.

The only real reason I could think of for changing the name would be if something else had the exact same name. Especially something more well-known. And that isn't the case, as near as I can tell. I say leave the name as is. It's as good as any, if you picked a new name you'd have a bunch of people whining until they got used to it, and you'd lose any name recognition that currently exists. Just a bad idea all around.
