I primarily use Chrome on my laptop, and that's what my screen shot is from. However whatever the default browser is on my Android phone is, displays it exactly the same way.

Oddly Firefox displays the page completely fine on the my laptop computer.

Not sure if it'll help, but check the zoom level on your browser? When I zoom in I get the same result, but when I zoom default it goes back to normal...

I zoomed it down as tiny as I could get it and the aliasing was still there for me.

What the hell ass balls is wrong with your web browsers? Attached, find what it looks like on Chrome, Safari, and Firefox on my system.
My guess is you've got some kind of text AA fanciness at the OS level on your box that we don't.

Well, given that it's 2011, and web fonts are both the present and the future, I humbly suggest that you look into fixing that. On Windows, you can enable ClearType, and on Linux, you can Google the required jiggery-pokery to enable proper rendering.

Cleartype is on here, actually.  I went and readjusted it to see if that fixed it, but it didn't.

I can take screenshots in Chrome and Safari if requested.

Even after a restart, gdipp loaded as a service fails to anti-alias that font in the latest Firefox running on the latest Vista 32-bit. Also, Windows Explorer crashed several times on bootup.

I think I would like it if you switched to a font or version of this font which does not require use of obscure third party extensions to render properly. Most Windows users are such to avoid that unless it's necessary to restore functionality to broken things, after all. :|

I think I would like it if I could actually depend on computers other than my own working like they should - that is, like mine does. Yes, you read that right: my system is right, and all of yours are wrong. If Windows refuses to properly anti-alias a font, the source of the problem is in Redmond.

I'll still try to patch the site to make it work across platforms, of course, but that doesn't change the fact that, on my system, which is a stock install of Mac OS X 10.7.1, it renders properly on Chrome, Firefox, and Safari, as demonstrated by the attached images.

Kyle, each working browser seems to kern the text differently enough that the text blocks in your three screenshots are noticeably different widths.

In Cytherea's and Lorelei's screenshots, it looks like the "Zeta Channel" text is wrapping to two lines, perhaps because their browsers tend to have even wider kerning than your widest one. If you give the #logo span a few more pixels of width to use, it might just fix the wrapping issue.

The antialiasing thing, on the other hand, is something people will need to enable on their own systems if they are annoyed by the jaggies.
My 2¢.

So you have a coffee shop. You also happen to be a long-time car enthusiast who spends all his freetime restoring ancient beauties, and keeping up on the bleeding edge of engineering with obscure stuff like rotary engines and shit.

To your customers though, you own a coffee shop. Anyway, you do a big renovation of the place.

A patron says "hey, what's up with the exit to the parking lot? I keep running over the curb now. Could you make it a bit wider?"

"Jesus, what kind of antiquated junker are you driving?"

"...It's a 2005 Civic."

*sigh* "Okay, listen. Call these guys in Oklahoma, they make an improved part for your power steering."

"Uh... okay."

[time passes]

"I installed that thing. Still can't make the turn. My car had a lot of trouble starting this morning, too."

"Whatever, your car is garbage. Take it up with Honda."

Yup, the logo's now looking right in FFox, Chrome, and Safari on Snow Leopard. :) hooray! Thank you. :D

Font size in posts is still super-bitty, though. (And, yes, I know I can zoom in with ctrl+zoom, but that's not really an optimal solution; I have to zoom in until I can't see poster names for the font to start being a reasonable size.)
