The coloration. It's like staring into a snowbank. I loved the old colors, they were easy on the eyes and pleasant.

All I'm asking is whether there's a way to use the old skin. I don't expect you to redesign for my comfort.

The page is too light. It reflects far more light now and seems almost blinding to me.
It is almost painful for me to look at because of that. Needs more contrast.

Damn right, Amanda, it's not that simple. Kyle tore down the wheelchair ramp to make the staircase in the first place.

Kyle says wants to stop the whining, but I'm relatively certain that in the case of form v. function, function isn't the whiny side.

FWIW, I've been on the "new" style for a while and I preferred it to the old style.  The old style always looked odd when I wasn't logged in.  Maybe it's just an adjustment thing and since I've had longer to get used to it I'm more attached to it, but at this point I'd be disappointed to see the "new" style thrown out.

Edit to Add:  Where I really liked the "new" style was in the PM section.  I don't know if people had a chance to see it before, but check it out if/when it comes back.  The PMs look more like normal e-mail and less like posts.  I don't think PMs need the "Admire/Disdain" or user icons and all that on them.  Again, maybe just personal preference, but I prefer it to the old style.
