Okay, so after far too long futzing about with MySQL, regular expressions, and a load of other bollocks you don't want to know about, I've managed to implement pretty URLs on Zeta Channel. What does that mean? It means that, instead of, for example, http://zetachannel.com/index.php?topic=4, you'll use http://zetachannel.com/help!/zeta-channel-faq, which is, you have to admit, much cooler.

In other news, I've managed to come up with a way for Opera users to fix the brokenness in that otherwise very good browser that makes the quick reply not work. You can find the solution here: http://zetachannel.com/site-news/new-layout/msg238480/#msg238480 (a perfect example of a pretty URL!)

So, I remember seeing something about how the quick reply was changed to allow opera users the ability to actually use it... Somehow I managed not to notice that it was even there before that.  So I gave it a try.  Guess what..?  My Windows XP pro and FireFox don't like it.  I'm running Fox 2.0.0.13 with the NoScript plugin (full access granted to Zch and Project wonderful) and the latest version of Zone Alarm (paid copy) Anti-virus/Anti-spyware.  I get a lovely little eroor message every time I try to use the quick reply function...
