Q: Gonna elaborate on the clan content?
A: We're probably off-schedule.  So it'll be late, so we're gonna tell you what it is to make up for it.  It is indeed Hobopolis, but it's not what you think.  But it's not gonna be the Alley unfolding like the Knob or the Manor.  In the clan hall, you'll be able to pay a fairly significant amount to build a basement.  In this basement there will be a number of things eventually, but initially you'll have to a pay a non-trivial but non-significant amount of meat to unlock Hobopolis.  It'll be a clan dungeon, like in WoW.  Like a quest that takes five or six thousand adventures, but all of the people in the clan work on it.  There'll be like seven zones down there.  A ton of content.  Normal mechanics will be totally more complicated, because it's the first truly multiplayer thing in KoL.  The bosses and monsters are going to be harder than anything else in the game, except maybe the NS pre-NS13. It'll be possible to see everything, and it'll cost a lot if one person foots the entire bill, but there will be advantages in every area of gameplay to having this open, so that's the logic behind the price.  Good consumables... good stuff.  Some different stuff.  So this is why it's taking us so long.  It's also taken a lot of planning just conceptually, like what happens when people change clans, or if a clan is disbanded... we think we've come up with a good way of handling it.  So lots of new items, stuff to get.  There'll be speed leaderboards for this as a clan.  Lots of spading will be required.  Doing this solo, seeing everything, can take weeks... but ten people (or less) may be able to do it in a day or so.
