Here's a hint for getting semi-rare items, like the Knob Goblin lunchbox:

Eat two fortune cookies (buy at the Market for 40 meat each) without adventuring in between, and write down both sets of lucky numbers. the number that's in both sets is your semi-rare adventure counter, which decrements by 1 each time you spend an adventure. If you are adventuring in an area with a semi-rare adventure available, such as the Outskirts of Cobb's Knob, when the counter hits 0, you get the semi-rare. The other part of the hint is that, if you're in a hurry, adventures spent training in the clan rumpus room count for the counter. If your counter is at 120, spend 119 adventures training, and then go collect your semi-rare (in the case of the outskirts of Cobb's Knob, the Knob Goblin lunchbox).

I must say...

Didn't see that.. or did you mean the revamp of the area?  I kind of liked it.  Gives some new stuff to do and collect... and find the purpose of.

So what do you think of the Crimbo thing this year?  My brother thinks it's going to be an assimilation by Uncle Crimborg... which might be the case since evidently the new moon is actually a space ship plus the thing in the crimbo story about how a future crimbo there were robots and such all around.  Wonder if there will be assimilated fruit cakes and eggnog and such to go with the "perfectly normal" ones that have been showing up so far...
