Well, I'm also working on the mats for my epic healy mace, and I'll be pvping my eyes out all week to try to get a chestpiece before the raid...

The rest of 'em have been raiding a while, but they made the shadow priest respecc, they were so desperate for heals!

Padyu (Tauren Resto Shammie) is only 66, and has no pretty purples yet.  She does have roughly 450 Bonus heals with another 94 coming when she hits 67. I've been in Nagrand since 64 and never did go to Terrokar.
A level 66 who's never seen Shatt!  I also almost have enough money saved up to by my flyer and I'm thinking of taking a week to grind for the AH and get the scepter of su-min.  299 bonus heal on a one-hand mace and 200 on a shield!

Of course, I'd have to stop playing Tusk, my 46 Warrior long enough to actually log Padyu... Priorities.

Hand of Eternity is pretty nice. Are you also working on mats for getting +81 heals on it?

There's a sexalicious mace in Kara for you, dropped by the Maiden of Virtue... Shard of the Virtuous.

I've been working on getting my warrior to 375 blacksmithing so I can make my Skillherald. Also halfway through revered with SSO, so I can get the tanking neck and the bitching tanking shield.

Wow! I am now at my pre-buff pre-enchant pre-epic healy mace goal of +1000 (1054, to be specific) Healing. But my crit is only at 15%; yikes. However, I've gotten a TON of practice- three instances a day, and yesterday it was Magistar's Terrace! I HEALED SUCCESSFULLY, although the shammy did have to chuck out a couple insta-casts... and oh my god we wiped on Kael'thas SO MANY TIMES, but we took that bitch DOWN! HAHAHAHAHAAAA!!!!!

I'm at 8k honor; I've been instancing at the expense of my pvp. Sad But the practice has been doing me SUCH good- I feel a lot better about my function right now! And I've got a good off-tank set coming together to, although NO healy gear has dropped from the instances, other than a nice trinket off of BM.

My guild was right, though. We NEED healers. Shit, they've put up with my learning curve, and any time there's a run and I'm on, I'm the healer by default. Tongue I guess I'm the only healer who is currently obsessively playing.

I off-tanked Kara for the first time Wednesday night. And I rocked it! We one-shot every boss except Prince. Failed on Prince because melee dps (except me and I didn't count) wouldn't get away on enfeebles, and the healers wouldn't kick the overhealing into high gear on phase 2 of Prince.

But outside of that, I did great on pulls that needed an offtank, I did great tanking tin man in the Oz opera event, and most importantly I nailed beam dancing on Netherspite. Sadly the only piece of Kara gear I picked up was a nice belt. But the experience was quite good, and it let me know that I have, at the very least, the basics of tanking down.

What sucked was when an offtank wasn't needed and I had to DPS. Prot warriors do not dps well >.<

Took my druid from 42 to 44 yesterday, and rolled a hunter for the heck of it. Probably won't bother getting an epic bird for my warrior, he's just pvp/tank and if they want him there in a hurry they can summon him.

Oh hell yes. I successfully main-tank healed Kara, including outhealing the holy priest. ^_^

The healy druid kicked my butt, though.

I also made out like a mad fiend- jeebus, I got three chunks of epic healy gear (only one was plate, though) and two chunks of tank gear for my future tanking plans. (Our main tank didn't need 'em, and no one was off-tanking or wanted 'em.)

Edit to add: Oh yeah, and I make an unbuffed +1125 healing now. Can I get a FUCK YES?
